In the near future, government-sponsored matchmaking has become an accepted part of society. Kouta is an ordinary man who assumes that, if he ever wants to get married, he will have to find a partner on his own. His expectations change when he unexpectedly receives a notification from the government marriage program. Kouta has no idea why he was selected, but he soon meets Hazuki Izayoi, the woman chosen as his future wife.
