Storyline
Twelve years before the events of the story, magic suddenly appeared throughout the world. After the government publicly announced its existence, magic became common knowledge and was gradually incorporated into technology, industry, and everyday life. The island of Agartha, where magic was first discovered, became a center of magical research.
In the present day, Mutsumi Haruto, a young Caster at the First National School for Higher Magic Education, struggles to ignore injustice whenever he encounters it. At the same time, Senri, an OutCast working in the city's nightlife district, handles mysterious and sometimes illegal jobs through his connections.
Their paths eventually intersect with those of Rikudou Asahi, an unusual student searching for the mysterious Land of Dreams; Atori Riku, the daughter of a major Magitech company's CEO; Kousaki Fiona Annabel, a kind apprentice sister at a local church; and Noah, a mysterious girl repeatedly spotted on Agartha.
As the perspectives of these six characters gradually converge, the conflict between government-controlled Casters and independent OutCasts becomes increasingly important. Their individual goals, ideals, and secrets become connected to a much larger mystery surrounding the nature of magic itself.
The result is a long, battle-focused supernatural story that explores the different ways people choose to use the power that has transformed their world.
