Storyline
In the island nation of Yamato, powerful warriors called Musha dominate the battlefield through supernatural armor known as Tsurugi. These living weapons grant their wielders incredible strength, speed, and the ability to fly.
A mysterious Musha known as the Silver Star, or Ginseigo, has become feared throughout the country. Wherever the Silver Star appears, destruction and death follow. The authorities are unable to stop this seemingly unstoppable enemy.
Standing against the Silver Star is Minato Kageaki, a young Musha who wears the crimson Tsurugi known as Muramasa. Unlike a traditional hero, Kageaki is painfully aware of the darkness surrounding his own power. Muramasa is a cursed weapon whose strength demands innocent blood in return.
Kageaki therefore follows a brutal philosophy: he will kill those he considers evil, but he will also accept the consequences when his own actions make him no better than the people he fights. His pursuit of the Silver Star gradually draws him into a much larger conflict involving the history of the Muramasa armor, political powers, revenge, and the true nature of justice.
As Kageaki's journey progresses, the line between hero and villain becomes increasingly difficult to define. His battle is not simply about defeating an enemy, but about confronting whether justice can truly exist when every act of violence carries its own price.
