Storyline
The story takes place in an alternate world where the balance of power between men and women has been completely reversed.
The eastern nation of Nihon, historically dominated by men and known for its militaristic society, has been defeated by Wime, a powerful western nation built around a strongly female-dominated ideology. After the war, Nihon struggles to recover while Wime imposes a new political order across the conquered territories.
In Osaka, the powerful Wakame Group once controlled much of the city's criminal and economic power. Its heir, Yamamoto Akuji, has been away for years after being captured during the war.
When Akuji finally returns to Osaka, he discovers that everything has changed. His family's organization is no longer under his control, and Ichihashi Ran, a former mistress of his grandfather, has taken control of the Wakame Group.
Akuji is rejected by his former subordinates and attacked, leaving him seriously weakened. After regaining consciousness, he finds himself being held by the Youth Service Group, a government-created organization intended to help break up the old power structure associated with the Wakame Group.
Rather than accepting defeat, Akuji sees an opportunity. He manages to take control of the group and establishes a foothold from which he can begin rebuilding his influence.
From there, Akuji's objective becomes clear: reclaim his position and eventually take control of Osaka.
To accomplish this, he must recruit allies, defeat rival organizations, expand his territory, and manipulate the political and criminal forces operating throughout the city. Every victory strengthens his organization, while every defeat threatens his plans to regain the power that was taken from him.
The struggle for Osaka gradually develops into a large-scale conflict involving rival factions, political interests, crime organizations, and the changing social order created by Wime's victory.
Daiakuji combines turn-based strategy and simulation gameplay with territory conquest, organization management, character recruitment, political intrigue, and an adult storyline.
