Overview
Closed GAME is an adult visual novel and escape-adventure game set in a dystopian future where humanity has been divided into two radically different worlds. The Earth has been devastated by resource depletion and extreme economic inequality, leaving its inhabitants struggling to survive. Above them floats Caelum Urbs, a technologically advanced heavenly city where its privileged residents possess everything they need and have effectively conquered death through advanced medical science.
Among the people living on Earth, rumors spread about a mysterious competition known as the “Closed GAME.” Those who survive the game are supposedly granted the ultimate prize: the chance to become residents of Caelum Urbs. For people living in poverty, this appears to be their only opportunity to escape their harsh existence.
Storyline
Tougo Magnarten is an orphan who lives a modest life on Earth and works as a mechanic. His close friend Celicia is also an orphan and has become a bounty hunter thanks to her exceptional skill with firearms. Although Tougo frequently worries about the dangers of her profession, Celicia continues pursuing her dangerous work.
Their lives change when Tougo, Celicia, and several other people are suddenly drawn into the mysterious Closed GAME. They awaken inside an isolated complex with no apparent way to escape. Among the participants are several women from very different backgrounds, each with their own reasons for taking part in the competition.
The truth behind the game is gradually revealed through Celine, Celicia's twin sister, who has lived among the inhabitants of Caelum Urbs. The participants have been selected for a deadly competition in which survival offers the possibility of entering the heavenly city. However, failure carries far more serious consequences than simply losing the contest.
As Tougo and the other participants attempt to navigate the complex, they are forced to make difficult choices, cooperate with one another, and uncover the truth behind the Closed GAME. Their decisions determine which characters survive and lead to different routes and endings.
