Overview
Beat Valkyrie Ixseal is an adult fantasy adventure and character-training game developed by AliceSoft. The story follows Oudou Tsuguhiko, a student who is actually the reincarnation of the ancient Demon King Aidam. While waiting for his demonic powers to awaken, Tsuguhiko lives an ordinary life as a human and dreams of eventually ruling the world.
His plans change when Ixseal, a Valkyrie sent from the heavens to eliminate the Demon King's reincarnation, attacks him. However, Tsuguhiko is betrayed by his own demonic subordinate, Bezel, who steals six of his seven powers and attempts to take control of the demonic forces.
With Ixseal stranded in the human world and Tsuguhiko left with only his power of Lust, the former enemies are forced to cooperate. Together, they must fight Bezel and his Wargrim army while Tsuguhiko helps Ixseal recover the strength she needs to survive.
The game combines fantasy battles, character development, simulation elements, branching events, and an adult storyline.
Storyline
The story takes place in the present day. Oudou Tsuguhiko appears to be an ordinary student and aspiring eroge writer, but he carries the soul of Aidam, the Demon King. He has been waiting for the day when his memories and powers will fully awaken, allowing him to pursue his ambition of conquering the world.
When his awakening finally occurs, Tsuguhiko is immediately attacked by Ixseal, a divine Valkyrie who has been sent from the heavens to destroy the reincarnation of the Demon King.
Tsuguhiko manages to survive the attack, but a much greater problem soon emerges. His trusted demon subordinate Bezel betrays him and steals six of his powers: Greed, Wrath, Pride, Gluttony, Sloth, and Envy. Only the power of Lust remains with Tsuguhiko.
Bezel then begins his own plan to seize control of the demonic forces. At the same time, his schemes cut Ixseal off from the heavens and prevent her from receiving the divine energy she needs to continue fighting.
With both of them placed in an unexpected situation, Tsuguhiko and Ixseal form an uneasy alliance. The Demon King who was supposed to be her target must now work together with the Valkyrie who tried to kill him.
Tsuguhiko discovers that his remaining demonic power can be transferred to Ixseal, allowing her to regain her strength. However, because the power he possesses is Lust, transferring it requires the two of them to become intimately involved.
As Ixseal gradually becomes accustomed to life in the human world, the unlikely pair prepares for a much larger conflict. They must confront Bezel and the Wargrim, the demonic army under his command, while uncovering the true motives behind his betrayal.
The story follows their evolving relationship as former enemies become partners, fight powerful demons, and attempt to stop Bezel from taking control of the world.
Beat Valkyrie Ixseal combines a supernatural battle story with character development, daily-life events, training, branching choices, and adult content, creating an adventure where the relationship between the Demon King and the Valkyrie is central to both the story and gameplay.
