The protagonist is an ordinary, middle-ranking civil servant who has spent his life following the expectations of the people around him. Despite living what appears to be a successful and respectable life, he feels empty and unable to find anything that truly excites him. One day, he experiences an unexpected moment of excitement when he accidentally brushes against a woman on the street and hears her scream. Unable to forget that feeling, he begins riding extremely crowded trains in search of the same rush. His obsession gradually develops into a secret life aboard the packed trains, where he encounters a variety of women with very different personalities and backgrounds. As he interacts with them, the player decides how far each encounter develops while managing the real-time situations aboard the train. The third game expands the series with new heroines, including a glamorous office worker, a university teaching assistant, and a popular private-arrest YouTuber. Additional heroines and guest characters are introduced through the Append content, creating further routes, events, and endings.
