Romina is a magician who has left the capital city of Granseria behind to work temporarily in Fulah, a small mountain village where she spent part of her childhood. Her assignment is simple: organize and examine an unfamiliar collection of books while the Great Royal Library undergoes renovations. Everything changes when Romina discovers a forbidden tome hidden among the collection. Two mysterious women, Olipos and Zahal, emerge from the book and reveal themselves as daemons. Before Romina can understand who they are or what they want, they steal her magical powers and challenge her to come after them if she wants to recover them. With her abilities greatly weakened, Romina begins a journey through villages, caves, ruins, and other dangerous locations in search of the forbidden tomes and the two daemons. Along the way, she encounters powerful enemies, ancient mysteries, and allies who help her uncover more about the strange world surrounding the tomes. As Romina gradually regains her strength, equipment and crafted magical books become essential to her progress. Her journey eventually leads her toward the truth behind Olipos and Zahal, the forbidden tomes, and the ancient secrets hidden within the world.
